This was a passion project to consolidate all of my recent and notable work in one place. It had been a long time since making a website so I decided to make this one from scratch, without any libraries or UI components. However I did need something to manage my content on the site so I used a SSG (Static Site Generator). I wanted to try out various templating languages so I landed on using 11ty, a relatively new tool, as it didn't seem to be as much overkill for a personal site as some of the other SSGs like Gatsby, whilst still being flexible enough.
